The best staging education is with a designer background, and one that follows the trends

Our lead home stager is actually a professionally-trained interior designer, and Monique Shaw also graduated from the Certified Staging Professionals course and exam. We do not use recycled materials/refurbished items from thrift stores. We furnish and stage like the interior experts we are and therefore use quality materials and goods, following the trends that suit Calgary homes. We use colours and furnishings that are trending in our industry, and do not use incorrect or garish colours; our staging is polished, professional and will give the home that showhome look and feel. We have worked with many home builders large and small, and know how to style these beautiful new homes to stand out.

Only What You Need

We do not try to upcharge for rooms or areas that we know as professionals do not need to be staged in order to achieve the sale, unless this is something the client specifically requests. We stage the most necessary areas to keep the staging affordable for the home sellers wherever possible. We also do not engage in ‘soft staging’ or ‘light staging’ where a few objects are placed into a room just for the sake of having objects in a room. We stage properly to show off the rooms to their best advantage. We provide a fair price that reflects our top education and beautiful style as well as the professional service we provide. We are not ‘budget’ home stagers — we are hired to provide a bespoke designer look that is sophisticated and on trend, well as a top-class boutique service to our clients. VIRTUAL STAGING

We do not engage in virtual staging. We believe that if a homeowner sees furniture on MLS in your client’s rooms and is motivated to book a showing, then those home buyers will want to see exactly what they saw on MLS–when they don’t, they often feel fooled and let down, and this results in them spending far less time in the property and feel less trust and motivation to make an offer. Real staging seen in person is what attracts buyers to a home and is a much better way to sell when potential homebuyers can sit in different rooms, picturing themselves living there.  Photoshopped furniture will not give buyers the ability to feel and get comfortable in the surroundings, and we want to create a memorable and positive impression at all times.

We partner with charities and local businesses as much as possible and are eco-friendly, and support those in need

When we work with your clients, we are also working to help keep Calgarians in employment and reuse, repurpose or recycle items as much as possible for the improvement of the Calgary environment. We support local Calgary vendors and companies when offering moving solutions to your clients too. We will work with your clients to find affordable solutions for staging whether it is helping them to refresh elements in their current environment (repurposing), or providing them with alternatives for their disposal requirements (recycling). Wherever possible, we encourage the home sellers that we work with to donate to women’s charities such as Women In Need or Making Changes, or to donate household fixtures etc to Habitat For Humanity. We also promote donation of old furnishings to the Calgary Kidney or Heart Associations.
